Repair the fence alongside the A38

The fence alongside the path from Haven Baulk Lane to Maypole Lane was installed when the A38 was built - around 50 years ago. After all this time the posts have rotted through.
National Highways, who look after the A38, have been asked about replacing the fence, but they are reluctant.

Repair the A38 fence

We ask that National Highways replace the fence alongside the path from Haven Baulk Lane to Maypole Lane in Littleover, Derby. This was constructed at the same time as the A38 dual carriageway - around 50 years ago - and should be maintained as a clear boundary between the public open space and the trunk road.
