What would make Manor Kingsway better?

In its early days, Manor Kingsway won awards for being very well-designed. The plans showed good connections, energy efficient homes, encouraged people to walk and cycle, and included local shops, on-site jobs and community features.
Last year the developer applied to build flats in the space for local shops. The land owner has now applied to build housing on the area allocated for jobs. Do you agree with this?
